I would not recommend Fitness First Reading, they have a good size gym but do not look after it. There are often buckets dotted around the floor when it is raining and signs stuck to the exercise equiptment saying our of order. The sauna and steam room area did not look very clean, i made the choice to never use it.
The charge people enough money, i can't see why they don't invest some of that money in the maintaince of the gyms. Have cancelled my membership which was a nightmare, the staff were quite rude when i told them i had wanted to cancell the membership.
Definately look at other gym before deciding to join fitness first.
