I signed up for a free trial with LoveFilm on 30 July, which should have taken me to 30 August. During the trial I ordered a DVD, and got a blu-ray disc which I couldn't watch - great start!
On 1 September I was charged 12.72. I had requested to lower my package before the end of the trial as I was assured I could do this by the salesgirl, but obviously they want a months notice. That's fine, so I'll be expecting 2 dvd's at a time, unlimited dvd's throughout the month then? Errr, maybe not, they're showing me as being on the lower package I requested, they've only sent me 1 dvd, and I've only got 1 left. So was the £12.72 I paid on 1 September for the "free" trial? Or is it for September, in which case where are my unlimited rentals? They've taken my money but aren't providing the service.
Guess I'll be cancelling my account then, and requesting a 12.72 refund.
