The Car Shop Sales staff were really pushy, they tried hard to get a £450 deposit out of me, because the car had to come from the Northhampton depot. I have heard lots of stories about people who have lost thier deposits. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Sales manager had an attitude problem, I could only stick him for about 5 mins, before telling him where to go.

    Firstly on behalf of The Car Shop I would like to apologise that for whatever reason you decided not to go ahead with your vehicle purchase. Unfortunately taking a deposit is an essential part of the sales process, as with most new and used car retailers. The deposit covers many things including administration costs and obviously in this instance transportation of the vehicle, I can assure you we do not ask for a deposit until we are certain you intend to purchase the vehicle. With regards refunding the deposit should there be any legitimate reason such as a finance application failing we would of course refund the deposit as quickly as possible.

    In the sales process we always strive to sell with personality, clearly it is much nicer and easier to buy from someone you like and trust. I can only apologise that you feel this wasn't the case for you. As you will know we have a large stock of vehicles and a large sales team so I hope this isolated incident won't put you off returning in the near future.
