I have been with GP for about 9 months. I managed to get myself into a huge amount of debt £13,000) - I didn't use to worry about it as I was earning a good wage.
I then moved to a different area and my good wage turned into a peanuts (part time temping contracts). I kept borrowing money and pretending that everything would work itself out....it didn't and I was just making it worse.

I contacted GP who were friendly and helpful from the first phone call. I knew right from the offset that charges were involved but to be honest for peace of mind and to stop myself worrying it, its was worth it.
I started off paying back about £400 a month and it worked really well with my part time job.
I now have a better paid job and able to pay back nearly £800 a month, this means that I from when I started (doom and gloom) with 5 years of debt...I should now be debt free by next year.

I also took out the thinkbanking account - which works really well with the GP scheme. If nothing else its taught me that living on a budget is easier than you think - you begin to appreciate every penny and look forward to the time when you're debt free rather than thinking there is no way out. This is all with the help of GP - I would highly recommend them to anyone.
