Customer service did not exist. We had no help at all and when we asked what to do with some souveneir walking canes we bought, the representative told us all we had to do was wrap it in the plastic wrap, after going through the ticket lines, then the security lines, they even told us to put the canes through the scanner... then someone walked up to us said that we couldn't take them on the plane. We pleaded for a resolution, "please can we check them in? The lady downstairs said all we had to do was wrap them..." With out hesitation the man threw them with such carelessness on the floor it brought tears to my eyes! I cant understand how a Peruvian airline who deals with travelers coming to and from Cusco could have such a lack of respect for their customers and their items. You can only imagine the frustration with the time and money we spent trying to find the perfect souveneirs and not one representative helped us at all. I don't even think that they listened to us at all, VERY disappointed with this airline! This wasn't even the first time I was dissapointed with LAN, I hope I never have to use them again!
