I will never use these people again. For the second year on the trot had a bad experience. Yes we were fools to give a second chance. Return flight in Dubai we were left on Tarmac for 4 hours in 47 degree heat while they tried to rectify problem with plane. They wouldnt allow animals to be treated like we were treated. They eventually decided the crew would be "out of time" with the 7 hour flight home and told us to get off plane and we would be taken to hotel. Nobody in airport advising us how we got to and which hotel.......we waited a further hour. Eventually hearded like sheep outside to where 10 seater minibusses came 3 at a time to move 350 people to horrible cheap and nasty airport hotel. We waited a further hour in 47 degree heat, with 2 very young children to get on a bus - everybody pushing and no virgin staff to be see. Coach had no "boot" so all cases onto coach blocking the walkway between seats - isnt this illegal.

Our family was split into 2 separate rooms and i was told to put kids (2 girls 5 and 7) in one room while the wife and I in another - Dont think so. Then told I would have to sleep in same bed as my daughter in one room while wife in another room with our other daughter. I did not feel comfortable at all with this arrangement as its not something i've done before. Crew went to 5 star Hyatt hotel with first class passengers - even though we had stayed at the 5 star Atlantis hotel for our holiday. The ibis hotel we stayed in was a disgrace.

Told to be in foyer at 3am for collection back to terminal - flight didnt depart until 9.15 am and hotel was 5 mins from terminal. With 2 young children this was a terrible wait and terrible service from Virgin who were nowhere to be seen.
