Dreadful. Avoid Switch Media at all costs - because whatever it costs, you'll be better off elsewhere. Their prices have recently increased way beyond general inflation, despite the fact that their approach to customer service has gone the other way, deteriorating to a level somewhere between indifference and contempt. For example, their idea of technical support consists of sending you a blunt and belated e-mail, stating that their server isn't offline when it clearly is (which happens with shocking frequency). To add insult to injury, they don't even have the decency to allow customers to take their business elsewhere without charging them yet more unreasonably hefty fees.

I suspect (and hope) that they will shortly be going out of business anyway because frankly, there can't be many people who are prepared either to tolerate such treatment or to pay over the odds for it. But if you happen to be one of those people then Switchmedia are definitely the web hosts for you.
