Whitecliff bay is the worst holiday camp I have ever been to. We stayed in a very smelly and damp chalet..the paint was peeling off the front door..with a gap in the bottom of the door where the wind whistled in. The carpets were stained and smelly ,the inside door mats were curled up at the edges...dirt all over the carpets which were thread bare...The bath was stained...their were cobwebs and spiders everywhere..the beds were out of the ark...the cutlery didn't match ..the light didn't work in the fridge..The sofa bed was covered in stains . the skirting boards were covered in dirt..the door on the back of the chalet. had been repaired or should I say patched up badly,I wouldn't have even put it on my shed...on our first night we ventured down to the Culver Club,,,bad mistake!!!as you go into the entrance the first thing that hits you is a very strong smell from the mens toilets which are situated in front of the main doors to the club house....so straight from the toilet hands all over the main door and back into the club ...yuk the doors had not been cleaned and greasy fingers marks every where..I used my shoulder to open the door.As you go into the clubhouse the first thing that hits you is a sticky floor,goodness knows when it was last cleaned..it was very dark in there probably hiding a multitude of sins!!!! I ordered drinks from the bar and we sat down on very old upright benches, to my horror finding chewing gum stuck to the underneath of the table...we left the clubhouse never to come back.. the shop on the camp was very understocked with very unhelpful staff..over all this camp needs a complete make over..oh and I forgot to say there's an airfield just outside the camp with low planes buzzing around all day...
