me and my family have just got back from a 7 night stay at haven primrose valley and i can honestly say we had a fantastic time. first of all i have got to say that the staff and funstars members were the most helpfull people i have ever had on a holiday. second of all the food in the complex was great most of all we enjoyed the 'MASH AND BARRELL' and the chinese resteraunt which was also very nice, we did try papa johns pizza which was nice but it was a pizza what else can you say about a pizza though. i must add though that the chinese has nothing to do with HAVEN. thirdly about the cost of the place, well what can i say, the best way to describe the price is it is to suit a holiday complex. i myself drink gaymers cider and i couldnt really complain when i was paying about £2.80 a pint not when i can go to the local pubs and pay the same price. there is a fair ground on site which isnt the cheapest but it pays you to buy family tokens this consists of 50 tokens for £20 it works out that you get £5 worth of tokens free. the rides consist of, i trampoline with 4 places on it, dodgems, small tea cups, a simulation ride, a small train ride for the tots, and two other rides with i can only desribe as a childs ride which consists of helicopters and cars and busses which goes round and round and the other one is for old kids which also goes round and round but it is fast. the only thing that i could complain about about is that you have to pay for everything i.e, hire paddle boats on the lake the mini golf the slides, rope swings, archery, shooting you get the picture but even then i cant really complain because clearly tells you all of this on the web site, the fun works passes that you get include entrance into the arcades which is also where all the entertainment is based aswell as the two smimming pools, there is great little park in the middle of the grounds which my little ones loved. you will hear of people saying that they were miles away from the complex all i have to say to these people is lazy lazy and lazy the most you will have to walk is 5 min or so i know this because we were one of those people but even then there was a little carrige train that travells the main through road and stops at the main complex the park and the second smaller complex where the fair grond and second swimming pool is based it costs an adult 50p. the last thing i can add is about the caravan itself. we stayed in the 3 bed superior plus which we could not fault at all i was very impressed with the lay out of the whole thing and also the cleanliness was top notch the cleaners were just finishing off as we arrived and they were really heplpfull as well as they told me that the heating wasnt working but that was a simple matter of phoning the reception and they sent somone out straight away to change the gas bottles. be advisied though that the caravan can get cold trough the night which is why we took heaters just incase and it was a good job we did, also be warned though that if you do use any heaters on a night dong use the kettle at the same time as the kettle will use so mush power on top of the heaters power that the main trip swith will overload which means phoning the reception again but they are good at what they do as the electrician will come out within 5 to 10 min and put it baxk on for you. there is not much else i can tell you about primrose valley but i hope it is enough to help you all. happy holidays to all going
