I have been a long-time United customer. I bought a rt ticket from Denver to Anchorage on United's web site. I paid a premium over what other carriers charged so I could use my united miles to upgrade for such a long trip. After I booked the trip I was told that I could not use my miles to upgrade because they sold me a seat on US Air off their website. I asked to cancel, but I was 2 hours outside their 24 hour window.

I will never fly these United again, and I am cutting up their credit card. Plus, their web site sucks. Go to American , continental, frontier, or southwest.
