We recently did book through Economy car hire for collection at Palma airport in Majorca, the main attraction being there was no excess and the price overall seemed reasonable but not too cheap. Economy are of course just a broker and seems to use two main rental companies in Majorca, we opted for Auriga Crown because they were based in the airport terminal and cars collected from the car park opposite. Although they say no excess, this is for everything except the glass, tyres and under carriage which is where the local company would try to sell you this on top, Economy have their own extra insurance which we did buy at a nominal rate, but as a result we had to pay a 300 Euro deposit on collection, this was refunded when the car was returned in one piece. At booking it said we'd probably have to buy a tank of fuel from the local company and return empty, to our surprise Auriga Crown said it was supplied full and return full, which in our opinion is fairer.

Overall we had no problems with Economy, they appear to answer emails fairly promptly, everything was as described and we did get a car, although not brand new.
