After many weeks of searching through mobility scooter web sites I decided on a Pro Rider Mobility Road King class 3 disability scooter. I wanted a big scooter with good build quality and a high performance motor. My scooter was delivered on time and in perfect boxed condition. Dont think this is a small scooter thats light and flimsey, its not. This beauty is big and strong and built for the road. I went for a black one rather than the 99% red colour that you see all the time. The black will need some special care to keep it clean and looking good but, it looks very classy. Some companies charge more for a black scooter, but not Pro Rider. Its got a huge 1.5 hp 1100 watt motor mated to a large gearbox, so it should be very powerfull. I am charging up the batteries at the moment ready for my firt drive. Pro Rider also answered all my e,mails. I paid £950 for the Road King and that included delivery and they did all the paper work for the road tax and vat exemption forms. If I ever need any warranty work done they should offer a good service as up to now they have been top notch.
