Direct Line are a completely awful insurance company. Have many problems with them including waiting over 8 months for them to get in contact with a third party insurance after been hit. Due to this it also meant that I have not gained an extra no claim and my policy went up an extra £150 on renewal. Direct line are no help at all and just seem to want to argue with you on the phone. If you ever change anything on your account you are always charged an "admin fee", usually around £20-£30.

    The part about the admin fee isnt true, its either 13.65 or 15.75 depending whether youre a new customer or renewing, and only changes which affect your premium generate an admin fee.
