Think Banking Managed Account is possibly the worst step I've ever made financially! I now have 3 outstanding complaints with them after being a customer for only 4 months. They seem to be very difficult to contact, I've had major issues with them advertising a 24-hour internet service then finding that the site is down when I want to use it. I've had my debit card declined in numerous retailers, which has left me stuck for cash and even meant I got thrown off a train!

They have also held onto funds paid into my salary account when they had no reason to. This meant yet another phone call to ask them for my own money! Incidentally, my monthly call charges are now around £20 just to Think Banking, as they seem to take well over 10 minutes just to answer a call.

My main gripe is that you are paying for a service, i.e; a managed account but they don't actually manage anything if you have to call them every time you want to carry out a transaction. You're basically paying just to have an accunt, even if you don't use it. This doesn't make good financial sense if money is tight and you are on a budget or struggling to manage your own money.
