Halifax really are the pits. i have been with them for over 15 years and there is no incentive whatsoever for customer loyalty. When i first joined them it took them a whole year to switch my account over and sort out all the cock ups that they had made whilst doing it. I should have realised then what a bunch of cowboys they are. They really know how to charge for going a few pence overdrawn too. I have gone overdrawn a few times by less than a pound and it has cost me over £80 each time. They are not prepared to make any concessions. Customer services cant even explain how they can justify charging £80 for such a small amount. I am just in the process of moving our last account from the Halifax to Natwest and i cant wait until the day i send back our shredded cheque books and bank cards. Avoid them at all costs.
