One star is even too high for BT.
From my time in London, BT has been more problem than useful. Just seeing that they are spending their money buying into the American market shows they have no real concern for their UK customer base - I would not even be surprised if they think we here in the UK are all just one big 'cash cow' for them.
Problems I have had:
- phone line took several months to setup
- broadband never was setup. After also several months went with Sky who set it up that afternoon. (Customer service of BT also had the nerve to tell me that my phone line was broken because of construction work in the street - then how the heck was I talking to them over the phone line)
- on now leaving UK I asked for our phone line to be cancelled once we left. They however cancelled it immediately. I currently have job interviews by phone I can not make and BT are requiring 3 days to set it up. Calling their complaints line I find the job to set the line up has not even been scheduled to start for 10 days.
If you are using BT, don't change anything with them as change only creates problems. If you are wanting a phone/broadband provider go elsewhere (unless of course you are in America in which case I am guessing that is where they are interested in providing good service to increase customer base).
