Our proposed trip abroad was cancelled at the last minute. We had to go to a travel agent to book another trip and only still went with Shearings as they had our money! Isle of Bute excursions were disappointing and aimed at shopping whereas so many more interesting places we could have visited especially when we were taken to Ayr town centre and left. The two front seats we had to take as nothing else left on coach were uncomfortable and my friend had to put her legs out into the gangway. On the same holiday were other people who had even booked a year in advance and had their trip abroad cancelled and they too ended up in Bute. Thank goodness the Hotels were good. Disappointed traveller.
