well i work at an Academy sports and outdoors and we have an archery shop, I sell alot of cross bows and id like to say the quad 400 crossbow is a peice of junk,I had a gentleman come in the other day to purchase a quad 400 and at that time i told him i didnt know much about it as im more of a bow person, i said it was pretty fast. well he wanted it as it was his first cross bow, i set it up for him and after the 3rd shot he took the safety off to fire and when he pulled the trigger it launched the bolt and the string had broke, well it was upsettingto both of us. when i looked into the problem i had noticed a spring that had come out of the safety and wasnt good, i decided to check the reviews out on it and noticed it had been happening alot. A day later a customer came in to shoot the display model we had and it did the same thing,I was very upset again. I have a appoitment to talk to our buyer about not selling the qaud 400 as its unreliable and its a safety concern.
