I've had a number of vacuum cleaners in my time but this beats the lot. Originally looking at Dyson but then I noticed in my local vacuum repair shop that the cleaners, waiting to be collected by their owners following repairs, were predominently yellow, i.e. Dyson, This worried me!
Following looking at detailed reviews the Sebo X4 seemed to satisfy my requirements. I am not disappointed. Two years on and it is functioning as new. OK, it's a bagged cleaner and the bags aren't cheap but it misses nothing on its pick-up job. I do notice that it takes a while for dust to collect on flat surfaces and I am convinced that this is because the filter and capture system is first class. Since buying a Sebo, I have noticed that around colleges, in hospitals and on my recent cruise, the cleaning staff all used Sebo's. This speaks for itself in my opinion.
