This has to be the worst product to come out of the Tefal factory. The basic idea is excellent but the material leaves a lot to be desired. We are now on our 2ND Tefal ActiFry. The 1st one went on fire (electrical fault),thankfully before the guarantee ran out and was replaced by Argos.
Now part of the clip for holding the lid in place has broken up, dropping bits of hard plastic into the food being cooked. £40+ for a new lid is a bit extreme. This product is definatly not worth the money

    I found this review very helpful because Tefal have been in the Kitchen-ware Industry for a long period of time and coming up with the Acti Fri Appliance was a great hit for the firm and Tefal Customers but NOT enough time has been spent by Tefal to Test the Acti Fri and must have had a lot of negative response - feed-back.

    The Tefal Fri needs to be re-called taken back by Tefal to allow an intensive and thorough investigation be carried out.

    I totally agree with your review. I have had the Actifry for less than a year. I am on the second lid and the plastic clip has yet again snapped off. I have to put plates on the lid when using the Actifry to keep the lid closed. The paddle has now snapped in half on handwashing!! Worst product Tefal have ever made. Not worth the money.

    I found this review very helpful because...i was considering buying a 3rd new lid and a new paddle but as the problems are so common I dont think I will waste my money!
