We stayed at Butlin's Minehead a very pretty seaside resort,we were lucky enough to catch the raft race when we were there.
Great effort had gone into building the raft's, what a laugh it was.We stayed at the Oyster Bay accomodation,and on arrival was greeted with a dirty entrance that was before we opened our chalet door,The carpet's were filthy, the handle fell off the door,the furniture was ingrained with dirt,the lead of the kettle was melted there was a punch hole in the door,the window's were stinking and the bedding was disgraceful,we had a duvet cover that was half the size of the duvet and the bit that did cover was full of holes,the food was served on dirty plates and everything was overpriced, thought everything for kid's was free but if you take children aged 9/10yrs plus they had to pay £5 for go kart's bumper boat's etc.Entertainment was good but very repetitive.Stopped to ask staff basic information but we were told they could not understand what we were saying.What happened to Diversity they were supposed to be there according to the internet but we never got to see them I am gutted as that was the whole reason we booked to go when we did ,we could have gone abroad for a week and it would not have cost as much so NO we will definately NOT be going to Butlin's again.
