Just heard Pontins is closing in October. About time too. I booked in for 4 nights in August this year with my daughter and her family. We got our keys at 4.45 had our money back by 5.20 and out of there by 5.30. I couldnt see through the windows of my chalet, but when I went in uggghhh the smell, knocked me sick, the room not cleaned, beds unmade, rubbish bin tipped, I stepped over the banana skins and stuck to the carpet, I wondered what was behind other door, but dont ask me what it was like, the bathroom, by this time I was frightned to look. I just had to get out, I honestly dont know how anyone could stay in such a disgusting place. My daughters room had been tidied, but cleaned??? There was no room for a cot unless you put it under the kettle, omg I ask you.
Anyway, we booked into a hotel and had a great time. Thank goodness Pontins is closing, no one else should have to be put through this experience.PS I didnt want to leave a rating but had too, so ignore my rating as it would have read Zero if was possible.
