Well, another waste of money! Please do not buy, the most terribly designed vacuum although it looks quite nice :)

I was under the impression that Dysons were the Mercedes Benz when it came to vacuums. After owning the most useless vacuum I could have purchased and wasting about £200, I now know better.

They certainly look nice and fit well in a small apartment, tucking neatly away underneath a bed or in a little cupboard. It's also incredibly lightweight and easy to manoevere. The suction is OK with the nozzle heads, not as good as I was expecting for a £300 vacuum (I managaed to sell mine fortunately not wasting all £300).

The rest of the heads are useless really, just for show I think. The turbine head doesn't work at all and the brush heads get clogged with hair easily. With every head apart from the nozzle and mattress tool (which you have to buy seperately) the suction just dies. I cleaned mine every time I used it just so the suction would work, painstakingly removing anything I thought might be causing a problem. A messy job that you bought the expensive vacuum so you wouldn't have to do.

The worst part is emptying. The ridiculous design means even if you were to empty it after every 30 seconds of cleaning, you will probably get about 40% of the dust in your face/on your hands. Everything gets stuck in the sides of the dust barrel, so you have to fish it out.

Dyson are nice on the phone, although they didn't give me a refund, they helped out when it came to selling it
