I wouldn't recommend Pipex to an enemy, letalone a friend! I've been a customer for 15+ years, and they used to be a great company to deal with. In the last few years, as they've passed from one owner to another, they've become a total nightmare, especially for customer support.
Even simple reports of problems on their own website require drawn out conversations with support staff. I cannot believe that all their support personnel are as poor at their jobs as the replies would make them sound, so my only conclusion is that they have set up policies to make it as difficult as possible for customers to get quick resolutions. The premium rate phone line they ask you to call might have something to do with that!
