I turned 16 and decided to buy a moped to take me to school and work. In searched for a quote and found that Dial Direct was the cheapest quote. They were friendly enough when I initially paid for the insurance.

2 months into the insurance problems with my bike have forced me to part exchange it for a new bike. They charged my £30 in admins fees to change the policy over and an extra £25 to insure the new bike.

I requested a cover note so I could register the bike and tax it. I was told it would take up to 48 hours to fax through to me.

94 hours later I recieved the cover note. After ringing several times to ask for the whereabouts of the note during this period I was told numerous different things by the people on the call lines. One told me that it would be there by Saturday night, (i ordered Friday morning 9:00am. On Monday the note was still not there. So I rang again and was told that Saturday was not a working day and that I would be there on Tuesday. I was spoken to rudely on the phone as I argued that I was told it would be Saturday when I would get the note. I was spoken to with attitude.

As a result of this I have been unable to get to work over the weekend and have lost nearly £200. Overall disgusted with the service I recieved.

Only hope I don't have to claim at all.
