When I was younger my hair was a sun-kissed blonde, but is now long and a dirty blonde colour. I brought Sun In Gentle from Boots for £5.15. I tried to use it at home with a hair dryer and only noticed little difference in the hair colour. Shortly after this I went on holiday to Egypt and used it there. My hair went a lovely blonde colour- exactly how i wanted it. Shortly after coming home my roots stated to grow; my hairdresser told me that I was "so bad" for using it on my hair- but nothing about not colouring the roots- although that's because I didn't ask. Although my roots are coming through, the current "grunge" hair fashion as worn by Mary-Kate Olsen will have to do for me- as other reviews claim that you hair can go brittle and fall out with colouring the roots/ putting more Sun In on. This would pretty much kill me as I really love my hair. I don't want my hair to look horrible until it grows out. Any advice on root colouring would be nice, but only if you're sure my hair won't fall out.
