Our 7yr old Lab bitch after many tests & referral to a specialist has been diagnosed with a disease of the Pancreas (IPS)resulting in severe diarrhoea.
Tesco are claiming it is a pre existing condition because 1 month before the policy start she had a short lived bout of diarrhoea after eating compost in the garden, which was cured by starving for 1 day.She has now lost 10kg in weight & looks like a skeleton I am guided by our vet as to wether she is suffering I am told she is uncomfortale but not suffering.
Anyhow back to my comments on Tesco Insurance
Friday 28/8/9 message left asking me to phone, phoned in & told cheque being posted that day.Tuesday 1/9/9 another phone call ne full ow told claim will not be paid no record of phone call 28/9.Saw vet yesterday & told Tesco have asked 4 times for the full medical history which has been sent each time. The claim is for £2,490 for the referal centre + the normal vets fee.
Sorry for the length of this, Tesco may look a good price
but remember you get what you pay for
