I had building and cintents insurance and had a problem with my conservatory roof as three panels had blown out one was damaged but the other two where fine. Homeserve the recommended company came to my house and stated no problem getting the polycarb [they said ]. Next week they arrived with the new three panels that i admit looked the same until they where put in place and they looked like dark chocolate campare with milk chocolate? Away they went with the three panels 4 days later they arriveed again. Three new panels they looked fine whilst standing inside then i went outside and to my horror dark and milk on the outside. They informed me that i had new for old and contents cover for up to 500.000 pounds but they still have not fixed my roof.
I have now refused to pay any more monies to them until this is fixed, they have informed me that i now have to pay 1200 pounds if i want the roof to match up?
You guessed it i cancelled the policy and still not paid them the monies they are asking for, do not get your insurance with liverpool victoria or LV as they will tell you anything before you make a claim but deliver none of it.
