I made a claim when my cat needed expensive out-of-hours treatment for a nasty urinary infection. Sainsbury's PetCare Pet Insurance did everything they could to try and get out of paying out a relatively small amount for a very straightforward claim and I was told repeated lies by their customer service staff - most amusingly was told on a Friday that the guy I was speaking to had personally posted my cheque that morning; when I rang again on the Thursday because it hadn't arrived, someone else told me the cheque was delayed because their printer had been broken for two weeks!! It took three months for them to pay out.
