if I have read this review before booking..never never book with Sol-Mar!!!!!

Recently rented through 12rent.com car rental and were assigned to Sol-Mar cars Palma de Mallorca airport.

Our initial problem was trying to find their representative at Palma airport as they were no where to be seen at the meeting point. After 3/4 hour another car company representative kindly phoned them for us and they finally came to pick us up.
Our second problem was we had paid half of the total price of rental in advance as signed on our voucher but they were insisting there was no contract while i had it in hand !!!after two hours of shouting they finally told us to pay another time the total price that in plus was different from the contract (rather the double quantity!!!!)or go out ...finally we got bus and ruined our holidays....the worst experience in car renting in 30 years..would definately not use Solmar again !!!
I have since written and emailed and phoned to the company every day for over a mounth and still no reply.. I am asking for a full refund for money just pre-payd due to the stress and danger that we were put in.
Somehow I dont think they will acknowledge my complaint.... I will never, never hire a car from them again.
