I have just returned from Holiday Park Apartments, Santa Ponsa a 14 night stay with my mom and my son at the well kept Holiday park and would recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday where you can either sit back and relax while you see the world go by, or take part in it.
We arrived mid afternoon and were allocated room 250 and were given a welcome drink with the option of a glass of wine, the Spanish Sangria or a soft drink. We did not expect the hotel to be so big and after searching for our room for a couple of minutes, we were approached by a member of the hotel staff who helped us to our room. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and the usual white plastic chairs and a clothes horse.
The layout of the hotel is that of a typical Spanish village in blocks with 3 floors, with the pool in the centre and a huge sun deck. The room was basic but very very clean and everything smelt fresh. All towels and sheets were snow white and smelt clean and the room was cleaned every couple of days.
There is a full entertainment program but on some nights difficult to get a table specially by 10 pm and we had to stand to watch the event but that was ok. Also there is a free hot dog evening and a 1 euro a pint evening. I would rate the entertainment very highly because the entertainers were very professional and liked by EVERYONE. The people behind the reception were always very helpful and very keen to help with all our queries. All bar staff were nice and friendly and bar food was great.
My son was very sad to say goodbye to everyone and I have already promised to take him back next year.
All in all we had a good stay in this hotel and enjoyed it.
