benjamin crosman eb17 is a decent pistol, BUT the sights are lousy, there's no way to add a Red Dot sight, the trigger is rough, too narrow, and has no precise shoot point. The grips are too thin and lack a thumb rest. The barrel is brass instead of steel. And you can buy a Crosman 2240 for half the price. With less than the difference between the two, you can make numerous modifications that increase power and accuracy, allow you to mount a Red Dot scope, etc. Buy the 2240.
