I have dark hair and use the Revlon Colorsilk Ammonia Free medium brown 41. I also am trying to cover gray. What i found was that you need to leave it on much longer than the box states. I leave it on for an hour. I found this to last 3 weeks in the winter with no color oxidation. But since the sun oxidizes hair color i find in the summer at the 2 to 2 1/2 week mark i want to color it again. 2 weeks is really when hair should be touched up - but i do try and stretch as much time out of this as i can. This is an excellent product for the money.
