I joined thinkbanking years ago because they said I wouldn't have a good chance of joining any high street bank. There was no person to person customer service. Everything had to be done over the phone costing call charges. To receive a balance, you would have to text them at your cost. You had no control over the situation and the monthly fee is not worth £12.50, £8 when i joined. The debit card couldn't take refunds automatically and had to be manually swiped, thinkbanking didn't know that. I am now with the co-operative and everything is in my control, excellent website and excellent customer service. To avoid dd charges of £19.50 per item, I manage my budget myself at a cost of £0.00 (saving £12.50). TB closed my account because I was using too much of their resoursces, IE my dedicated money manager who was always a different person. Avoid!
