- Have you made a claim?Yes
I only took my insurance out (after checking with many companies, it seems like a good price for the cover that should be received) and needed to make a claim 4 months later. We took out the top cover which seemed to suggest that it was lifetime cover. My Persian cat developed Luxating Patella in both knees and the vet thought he may need a operation. We got them to fill in the claim form from the start so E and L would be aware of the situation. A month later I received a letter saying that due to my kitten being high risk they were limiting the cover until the end of the year. Luckily he didn't need the operation after all. The claim was only for £39 (after the eccess) but I had to keep chasing them for payment. Four months later I received it. How does anyone know that when they get a pet that they are going to be high risk and they don't even give you that as an option when you first apply. Now my little Jasper will not be covered for his problem if it appears again in the future as all insurance co do not cover previous conditions.
