I bought the sky hd box a year ago and I think that the box is very noisy and i have to un-plug the back cable now and then as it will freeze. You have to have the volume up higher just so you can drown out the constant droning that is caused by the fan. I have a Sony dvd recorder with hard drive and it is silent, you wouldnt even know it was on. The boxes are made cheap and are trying to do too much and can't cope. Overall £300 was waste of money and untill a better made box is out I wouldn't buy this.
