Often had trouble with the cleaning solution not being dispensed. Found the problem was that long lenght of plastic tube in the solution bottle. Remedy..cut the bloody thing off leaving 1/2 inch showing. Works a treat now. Eating fluid like ther's no tomorrow. Don't worry about that as the carpets are now clean
