I ordered a portable dvd player for my son on the 15th July. When i ordered it i was told it was in stock otherwise i would of looked else where - who wants to wait for ages! I have recieved 3 emails telling me it was delayed but there was no reason. I was told the 18th of August, the 3rd of September and finally the 12th October. At this point i thought this has gone beyond the point of ridiculous and phoned them to ask what was happening. I was told it wasn't in stock!!!! They were very sorry but could not even guarantee it would be delivered on the 12th October. So i was fuming!!!! I cancelled the order and was told i would get a refund in 3-4 working days. When i got off the phoned i ordered another one from Tesco direct and it came the next day. I should of done this in the first place because guess what came 20 mins ago!!!!!! Yes the dvd player from Dell. Funny how it suddenly became in stock insn't it when i canelled it!!!!! Now i have a problem getting them to pick it up!!!! I don't have an alternative address and don't want to ask a neighbour to wait in all day while i go out to work for a parcel that may be picked up between 9 and 5! I have given them one star because you cannot give none.
