i have just opened an egg fixed rate savings account i find the service that they offer to be excellent, except for one thing when i set up the account they gave me a sort code for paying money in via the faster payments service, but when you want to withdraw your money you cannot do so via the faster payments system, so you can only get your money back either by bacs which can take up to 4 days or pay £25.00 to have it sent by chaps.
i think that in this 21st century certain banks want to get their act together as these bankers are only going to alienate themselves from the people that they are ment to serve.
