Just back from a weekend at Scotts Farm Camping in the Witterings, and it was a nightmare. Dog muck everywhere, AND NO-ONE CLEARING IT UP, dirty (and often blocked) toilets and the showers were dirty with a basic trickle of water. No soap in the toilets (despite the issues with swine flu!) and staff who think nothing about swearing at kids. Not a good experience at all.
The location is good, but the place is definitely going downhill as this was our second trip - the first being great - but standards have definitely slipped.
Also and very importantly, the kids play area has a concrete base which is supposed to be covered in sand (10cms is the law I think) and there was nowhere near that much, so kids were falling and hurting themselves on a regular basis.
My opinion is to AVOID... AVOID.... AVOID. There are lots of other more friendly sites around, this place is a hellhole.
