bsa standard varient 1,manufactured 1919/39 nicknamed giant or long tom.s or t prefixes 45.5inch overall.in .177 or .22 this superb old airgun shoots and handles as well as its modern counterparts.due to its age its open sights only but this adds to its charm and the challenge for accurate shooting.in both calibres it is full power thats to say within the 12 ftlbs limit as are all modern airguns so it competes at this level.it is now enjoying a resurgence on two levels the first being its collectability and charm the second that the old bell target competitions are also enjoying a revival which utilize the vintage open sight air rifles.
