We went on this ship Norwegian Jade to the Med. and cannot fault the staff as they were friendly and helpful. As for the extras added on to every drink even soft drinks added up to too much money. I was looking forward to the Spinning classes in the Gym, but as it would have been $12 a session that was out,
Maybe some tourists are used to being ripped off but this company really takes the biscuit. The entertainment was on the cheap as the guests were pulled into entertain as in reality shows. One good thing was the group Sound Bytes, they were VERY GOOD the singers really worked for their money, and the other members of the group were excellent musicians, and couldn't fault them. The theatre group were good but not enough shows were put on. Some old comedian did a couple of shows, but as he was living on the fame of the late Benny Hill we were not interested.
The cabin was fine and comfortable, but the fact that we were not allowed to bring on our own drink was outragious, as we like to have a small drink after getting ready for the evening, sit on the balcony and look at the sea.
The price of the trips were SHOCKING so we did our own thing at the ports.
this company really needs to look at the way us Brits holiday, and realise that we won't pay the staff wages they should give them a decent wage at the outset, we paid enough for the holiday, another £300 on top was not paid as we opted out of that one, as did a hell of a lot of others.
Apart from the rip-offs we did enjoy the trip, and the ship was very nice, one more thing TOO MANY CHILDREN running around the dance floor when the band was playing.
