I use Philishave machines for the last 45 years, and I think my recent acquisition (RQ1095) is a fraud, at least when compared with my previous HQ8894 (because I just can't remember all the others):

1-HQ8894 charges for 1 hour and lasts 160 minutes; RQ1095 charges for the same hour and only lasts 65 minutes!

2-HQ8894 has a large capacity for cuted beard hairs that only need cleaning every 4 or 5 days; RQ1095 has to be cleaned every 2 days, maximum!

3-When batteries go out, on the HQ8894 you simply plug it and continue finishing your shaving; with the RQ1095 this is not possible, because you simply cannot connect the power cord to the machine!

4-The cutting capacity is better on the HQ8894 than on the new RQ1095;

5-The only thing that seems to work good is the expensive jet cleaning system.
