I flew Continental in economy class from Burlington, VT to San Diego, California with a 3-hour stop in Newark at the end of July 2009. It was my first flight with them and everything went smoothly.
No big delays, fast check-in and no unpleasant surprises. Crew was helpful and informative. Continental is one of the few companies that still serves a meal for free. Ticket was at a great price(308$ return).
Flight from Burlington to Newark aboard a Dash-8 Q400 was a real roller-coaster due to bad weather. However, the captain was helpful in getting us reassured and were only 15 minutes late.
I will surely fly with Continental again.
