We booked a Thomas Cook flight for 2, 7 days to Kos, staying in self-catering accommodation at Kamari Beach. We did this BEFORE we read the reviews so we were expecting the worst. We were pleasantly surprised. We managed to get extra leg room on the outward flight at the cost of £40!The service was ok on the outward flight, but coming back from Kos to Manchester it was very professional and helpful. We got the diabetic meals we had ordered, legroom was not great, but ok for a medium-haul flight.The apartment was basic but spotless. Rubbish was removed every day, beds changed once while we were there, room cleaned every 2 days.Extra costs were 35 euros for air-conditioning (essential) and 30 euros to stay on in the room on the day of our return flight.
