Well, if I had written this review 12 months ago it would have been 5 stars across the board, sadly experience of three of their range has soured the experience.

My first Sony was a K750i, fantastic little phone, it served me for 2 years, until a fateful night when it was accidenly knocked off my desk and the resulting bounce on the floor sent the screen ontop a chair leg and shattered, what followed was my excellent K800i.

The K800i, perfect pictures, excellent Walkman facility, robust, all what I love in my phone, well over a year of faithful service was given, not one freeze, reboot or crash in all that time. However one sunny morning a sudden rainfall soaked me, literally, to the bone, sadly K800i is not waterproof.

Next was the W580i, this is the start of the souring of the experience, at first the phone seemed perfect, good software. However after only a week the phone was showing problems, keys cracking, the slide mechanism jamming, after only 8 weeks the phone was 'replaced' by a K850i, the 'big brother' so to speak of the K800i, again, at first excellent, however noticed it frequently reset, then the camera started playing up, flash going and the pictures black ! then it was the night before Christmas (literally) when then phone rebooted for the last time, at the ripe old age of 8 weeks !

Sony needs a step back, get back to the K800i / K750i quality and they will get my business back.
