We had read reviews of the Seahorse prior to our weekend in Llandudno and upon their advice booked a table. Now it has to be said before i continue that we have travelled to many countries and eaten in many restaurants and have as a result discovered that most are actually of very average standard, not so with the Seahorse. Firstly we were welcomed by a very pleasant older chap who not only made us extremely welcome but knew the menu and the wine and was both attentive and discrete at the same time ( a skill lost on many for whom being a waiter is just a temporary job) secondly the environment was wonderfully warm and welcoming. The food however surpassed all this and was of course what we had come for, and we didnt stop taking about each course as we finished it. Superb quality ingredients cooked by people who know how to cook. Wonderful delicate flavours, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. If you are ever in north Wales I recommend the drive to Llandudno just so that you can try out the Seahorse, it restores your faith in good food!
