Had a nice day out at West Midlands Safari Park. It took about 2 1/2 hrs to get through the safari park because of the queues of cars. But this didn't bother us and the time went quite quickly. It was amazing to be so close to the animals. Face to face with giraffes, zebras, etc. We were surprised to find short queues in the amusement park (although firends had told us that they had experienced long queues). Longest I queued was 15 mins - and this was a sunny Saturday in mid August. I went on all the big rides some had no queues, and I could quite easily have gone on many times. saw some good shows in the price. Seemed organised and well run, plenty of stewards. Generally a good day out.
