There was a very loud squeal coming from my corsa that ceased everytime I touched the brake pedal, strange I thought, so I took it to kwik fit for a brake test to identify the problem, They only removed the front wheels to examine the front brakes and said nothing was wrong and that it was probably some dirt caught in the pad which would go on it's own. The noise was getting worse so I decided to go a main dealer for a proper diagnosis, It turned out it was one of the rear discs that was faulty, I got both rear discs changed and new sets of pads which cured the problem instantly, Kwik fit couldn't be bothered to check the rear brakes!
