Have been using Carjet for several years, who as many know act as brokers and place you with a car hire company at the airport. This year prices rocketed (probably not Carjet's fault but who knows!) so opted for a cheaper vehicle than normal. Quality was poor, car was dirty and were charged for a full tank of diesel at 75 euros. We subsequently filled the car to the brim for 46 Euros - what a way to make extra money!! even allowing for a variation on fuel prices at different garages this was extortion. The car was from Goldcar Rental so beware. They won't allow rental without a full tank of fuel and when we have queried in past years they say it it is line with current legislation - but don't say what legislation! Even so, this year's fuel costs were exorbitant. Also had a problem with a breakdown and were told to ring to SOS number - stuck half way up a mountain, phoned them several times and got an answer machine - was never ever called back - glad it wasn't a dire emeregency - luckily was able to call a friend to help us. Goldcar office didn't want to know. Will seriously think about using them again - they may be cheaper (or at least used to be) but with all the add-ons would probably be better of using more well known hire companies.
